PROJECT PROFILE

The objective of the HSIA Expansion Project (commonly known as the Airport Third Terminal Project) is to meet future demand of air transportation and to ensure international standard of safety, security and facilitation by expanding airport terminal facilities and developing related infrastructure, thereby contributing to further economic growth in Bangladesh. Once completed, the Project will more than double the existing passenger handling and cargo capacity of the airport. Currently, the Project is well ahead of its schedule, and on track to be completed within the deadline of 2024.
